The Movement for Health Coalition members, partners, and staff team, alongside a growing Community of Practice, are moving together to see positive change happen. Our ethos and vision are core to our body of work. We plan as a community, united by evidence and passion with the knowledge that movement is the key to many better outcomes for people with health conditions. Mapping Report

Our annual mapping work shows how the coalition member organisations are supporting people with health conditions to move, where these opportunities take place and providers a steer as to what more investment could achieve and look like to see improved health outcomes for Scotland’s population.

Day of Movement 2025

The 18th of June 2025 marked Scotland’s first National Day of Movement. This is a significant day to celebrate all that you do to support people living with long-term health conditions to move in ways that are safe, fun, accessible, and inclusive. We know that everyone’s movement counts, big and small, and we want to shout about all that can be achieved when we move together.

Conference 2024
